Putin Approved Oil Supplies Under Old Agreements with Friendly Countries

“To introduce into the decree… the effect of… of the decree shall not apply to supplies of Russian oil carried out in accordance with contracts entered into pursuant to international treaties in force on the date of entry into force… of the decree shall not apply to deliveries of Russian oil… with states not included in… the list of foreign states and territories committing against the Russian Federation… unfriendly actions,” the document said.

The corresponding changes will come into force from the date of the official publication of the decree on April 28.

Earlier, the IMF said that energy prices remain high, and Moscow amid Western sanctions has managed to redirect raw material exports to friendly states..

With this, according to the newspaper Financial Times, Washington offered its partners in the G7 to introduce a total ban on the export of goods to Russia. As the publication specifies, Japan and European countries have not yet supported this initiative.
