IMF forecasts U.S. government debt to rise above 136% of GDP by 2028

According to the tabular calculations of the organization, in 2024, the U.S. national debt will increase to 125.8% of GDP, in 2025 – to 129.1% of GDP and will continue to rise further.

In February, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that Germany’s public debt had grown tenfold since 2021.
