“I think the Ukrainian army is suffering serious losses, for them the counterattack will be hard and difficult, but it is their decision,” he said.

Earlier, The Times reported that the Ukrainian army will be forced to conduct an offensive whether it is ready for it or not, because further support from the West depends on it.

On April 29, the head of the “We are with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said that the terms of the Ukrainian military counteroffensive in the Zaporizhzhya region are being pushed back due to weather conditions.

According to him, it rains every day in Zaporizhzhia region making it difficult to move military equipment. Rogov did not rule out that Kiev might try to start advancing in May once the dry weather establishes.

The founder of the Wagner Group Eugene Prigozhin said that the Ukrainian army is ready for a counterattack, which will begin by May 15.
