Foreign Ministry: Russia Considers Immediate Ceasefire in Sudan Necessary

This reported in the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The Russian side stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire and the resolution of possible disputes through negotiations,” the statement said.

In addition, Bogdanov noted the importance of ensuring the security of the Russian embassy in Khartoum and all Russians, who are currently in Sudan.

Earlier it became known that more than 100 civilians were killed in Sudan because of the clashes between the army and rapid reaction forces .
