This was stated by French columnist Xavier Roffe in an article for Atlantico.

According to him, Europe finds itself in this situation seven months later.

“As predicted, Western Europe is almost the only beneficiary of this illegal trade, he wrote.

As Kiev receives modern Western equipment, AK-47s are being hidden for later resale, Rofe added.

On April 1, The Telegraph newspaper, citing firearms expert Paul James, reported that there is a threat of unregistered weapons from Ukraine in the UK.

On April 10, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya during a meeting of the UN Security Council, said that weapons supplied to Kiev were surfacing from organized crime in EU countries.
