Vietnamese Cabinet approves visa-free regime for Russians up to 45 days

At the same time, the validity of electronic visas was increased to three months.

According to the newspaper, the government hopes to support a key economic growth factor in Vietnam – tourism and foreign investment. The proposal must now be approved by the country’s parliament.

It is specified that the relevant list of countries, in addition to Russia, includes Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Norway, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Britain, South Korea and Japan.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov said that Russia was preparing intergovernmental agreements on visa-free travel with 11 countries..
