Trump urged to pray after Putin’s decision on nuclear weapons

“This situation was caused by us. This is what happens when your government is run by incompetent people. All I can tell you right now is pray,” Trump said.

His words are quoted by Newsweek.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons would be built in Belarus by July 1.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry said that the deployment of nuclear warheads on the territory of Belarus without transferring control over them to Minsk does not contradict the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

The head of the European Union Foreign Affairs Service, Josep Borrell, said that EU is ready to impose new sanctions if Russia deploys tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
