In his address, the legislator noted that the development of technology sets the vector of modern education, forming in children the knowledge and skills that meet the challenges of our time.

Sukharev noted that in recent years unmanned aerial vehicles have become popular and in demand. They are used not only in the military-industrial complex, but also in aerial photography, patrolling, geodetic surveys, monitoring of various objects, etc.

And in conditions of special military operation the profession of drone operator is especially relevant, the legislator noted.

Meanwhile, despite its importance, great interest and fascination of children with modern technology, at present the basics of creation and management of drones are available to schoolchildren only as an additional education, in the framework of circles and sections.

“In this regard, I ask you to instruct you to consider the expediency of including the basics of programming, control and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the school course of the subject of computer science,” the appeal reads.

Earlier analysts told what children’s circles are popular in Russia.
