State Duma deputy Vlasov suggested introducing a summer recreation allowance for distinguished schoolchildren

In his address, the legislator noted that for decades there have been stimulating financial mechanisms in the systems of secondary and higher education – scholarships for which young people who have distinguished themselves in their studies can count on.

At the same time there are no such mass incentives for schoolchildren in the system of secondary education today, although they could be a good incentive to improve academic performance.

“In this regard, I ask you to consider the possibility of introducing summer financial incentives (grants) for holidays for students in grades 7-11, who distinguished themselves with high marks for the relevant knowledge during the school year,” reads the text of the appeal.

Earlier Moscow launched a new service for choosing professions for schoolchildren.
