Sberbank to pay a record dividend of 565 billion rubles in 2022

This was announced by Anton Siluanov, head of the bank’s supervisory board and Russia’s Finance Minister.

“Based on last year’s results, we made a decision and the general meeting of shareholders confirmed the payment of increased dividends,” he was quoted by RIA News.

The head of Sber Herman Gref called the dividend of 25 rubles per share a record in the history of dividend payments.

Earlier it became known that Sberbank since April 21 increases the maximum rate on the deposit in yuan to 3.35% per annum.

The press service of the Central Bank of Russia reported that Russia’s current account surplus for the period January-March this year was $12.9 billion.

Professor Konstantin Ordov, Director of the Higher School of Finance at Plekhanov Russian Economic University, in a conversation with FBA “Economy Today” spoke about the situation in the Russian economy.
