This was reported by the general director of the company Pavel Pavlenko.

“Octava” has sewing production and, most importantly, specialists. This allowed us to create the “Obereg” vest on a proactive basis, taking into account the needs of special operations,” TASS quotes him as saying.

The bulletproof vest during certification tests withstood three shots with an armor-piercing bullet B-32 from a distance of 10 meters from a sniper rifle.

Earlier it became known that in Russia a remotely controlled sniper complex “Robosniper” was created, in the near future it will enter the army for pilot operation.

Also at Kalashnikov reported the start of serial production of the Chukavin sniper rifle.
