Raiffeisen Bank: Russian assets may be sold or withdrawn from the group

“We are committed to further reducing business activity in Russia while we continue to consider such potential deals,” said in a press release.

It is noted that the market conditions for business in Russia are very difficult.

Local and international laws and rules governing the sale of businesses in Russia are subject to constant change.

In January, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin noted that almost 76% of foreign companies continued to operate in Russia, despite the statements of many organizations about leaving the country.

As the parliamentarian noted, the majority of international firms chose to stay, because they believe in the good prospects of the Russian economy.
