The agency PAP reports this, citing sources.

It is specified that Poland proposes the imposition of further sanctions on the energy sector: a ban on imports through the northern section of the Druzhba pipeline and the introduction of compensatory mechanisms for oil from Russia, which is not covered by the European embargo.

Earlier, the head of the Central Bank of the country Elvira Nabiullina said that Russia has a financial safety cushion in assets not subject to sanctions.

It was also reported that G7 countries will continue cooperation to prevent Russia from circumventing the sanctions imposed on it.

Swiss President Alain Berset said the country is doing everything to fully implement the anti-Russian sanctions.

At the same time, he added that “it is not easy to achieve this.
