Online furniture sales in Russia showed growth in Q1 2023

The share of online furniture orders in Russia increased by 9% compared with the first quarter of 2022, in Moscow – by 10%.

However, the average bill fell by 23% to 22,690 rubles nationwide and 23,350 rubles in Moscow (-20%).

Analysts also noted that buyers have become less likely to purchase expensive furniture. Thus, sales in the price segment of 100 thousand to 500 thousand rubles in the first quarter of 2023 decreased by 43% compared with the same period of 2022.

Earlier Bulat Shakirov, the head of the Union of shopping centers in a conversation with NSN spoke about the situation with the attendance of shopping centers.
