Nizhny Novgorod and Krasnoyarsk are the leaders in the number of accident drivers

In addition, 76% of Russians are beginning to think about replacing the vehicle immediately after an accident, of which every seventh (14%) has already bought a new car, according to a joint study by Renaissance Insurance Group and the car inspection and selection service “Autocode.

As analysts found out, most often Russian residents choose used cars for replacement (77%).

As a rule, for the majority such choice is dictated by low cost (52%), and every sixth respondent (16%) believes that there is no fundamental difference between the car from the factory and used, noted in the survey results.

However, 14% of Russians say that in this way they get access to models that are no longer on the market, and 12% admit that they are used to frequently change the car.

Moreover, according to 80% of respondents, the main damages, after which one should definitely change the car for a new one, are total ones, when the car cannot be restored anymore;

Russian drivers also believe that the deformation of the front end of the car (54%) and the door openings (49%) can be reasons for replacement.

The top ten reasons to buy a new car also include warped rear end (46%), damaged windows (40%) and engine (38%), the need to replace several body parts (25%), sagging doors (25%), constant creaking when driving (17%) and the presence of holes, dents and scratches (13%).

A total of 1,200 respondents took part in the survey.
