Interfax: the rate of a one-time fee from excess profits of business will be 10%

Agency recalls the words of Finance Minister Anton Siluanov that pay the fee in 2023, without waiting for the legal entry into force of the amendments will be more profitable.

At the same time, the amendments to the Tax Code will formally enter into force only on January 1, 2024.

Agency sources noted that the tax rate for early payment will be 5% of the amount of excess profits.

“If you make the payment in 2024, you will have to give twice -10%. Technically, this 10% will be the tax rate,” the news report said.

As Siluanov noted, a one-time payment to the budget will affect only a tenth of Russian companies.
