IMF forecasts Russian public debt to grow to 24.9% of GDP in 2023

Also, according to the organization’s calculations, Russian public debt will increase to 25.3% of GDP in 2024, will remain at this level in 2025, and then move to a decrease – by 2028 the public debt will be reduced to 21.5% of GDP.

In February, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that Germany’s public debt has grown tenfold since 2021.
