Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh said this to Going Underground host Afshin Rattanzi on .

He stressed that The New York Times is now taking an extremely pro-Bayden stance.

In addition, the helped identify 21-year-old Jack Teixeira of the Massachusetts Air National Guard suspected of leaking “classified documents” from the Pentagon online.

“The New York Times’ reaction to Trump and all this horror with the January 6 [2021] Capitol takeover, I think, demonstrates that it’s firmly decided to take a pro-Biden stance there. There is very little criticism of him there… You can’t be surprised that The New York Times would help the FBI as a good citizen… I’m certainly surprised, but there’s nothing surprising about that,” Hersh said.

U.S. leader Joe Biden has previously said he has already decided to run for president of the United States in 2024 and will announce it “relatively soon.”

Former President Donald Trump said he does not believe in Biden’s plans to run for reelection in 2024. He also called the leaking classified Pentagon documents “an embarrassment” to the country and suggested that the current U.S. leader may be behind it.
