“He may not be bluffing here in the sense that he may actually move tactical nuclear weapons into Belarus, which is a separate issue,” Bolton said on CNN This Morning.

He was quoted by The Hill.

He also expressed concern that Belarus, which used to be part of the Soviet Union, could potentially be “swallowed up by Russia again.”

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the United States ignored or rejected all Russian appeals to return US nuclear weapons from abroad.
