Bloomberg: shift of oil markets to the East led to tanker construction boom

According to reporters, Braemar has received orders for 38 medium-class tankers this year.

“The main structural shift in the refinery landscape, which will support demand for petroleum product shipping in the medium to long term, is the geographic shift between new refineries and major consumers,” said Braemar senior analyst Alexandra Alatari.
