Annual food inflation in the UK reached a record 17.5%

This was reported by Sky News.

According to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) NielsenIQ index, prices in stores are now 8.9% higher than a year ago.

BRC Executive Director Helen Dickinson noted that “store price inflation has not yet reached its peak.”

Earlier it was reported that inflation in Poland in February was a record 18.4% year-on-year.
